There’s Only Four Kinds Of People In The World, And Three Of Them Suck…

Yeah, I knew that would get your attention… Hey, what an incredible Super Bowl 44 that was last Sunday, right? That definitely didn’t suck. Congrats to the New Orleans Saints. And what a nice lift to the city of New Orleans…

So what If I told you there were only four kinds of people in the world? Literally, only “four”…

First, there are the “Copouts” – These are people who don’t have goals and have very little drive. They just want to remain the same and do nothing different to change their lives or the lives of anyone around them. Good chance they log countless, mind numbing TV hours each week. You know the type.

Second, there are the “Holdouts” – These are people who would like to be more, do more and have more, but are afraid. Always trying to find a reason “why not.” They allow their fears to control them and never get started with anything. They’re big on hoping and wishing – two of the most devastating words in the English language I might add.

Then there are the “Dropouts” – These people get started, but just never finish. They don’t keep their commitments and they don’t continue building relationships. They have all the potential, but none of the results because they “buy into” their own excuses time and time again. They bounce around. Instant gratification gets the best of them more often than not.

And finally, there are the “Allouts” – These are the people with the results. Doesn’t matter what business they’re in. They find a way to win.  They’re real clear on what they want right from the start – A BIG, common characteristic of all “Allouts” (no phun intended). They take full responsibility and do zero finger pointing. No excuses, no stories…only solutions.

Which of the four do you think you fall into? Think about it. In fact spend the next week or so really, really watching your actions and your dialogue with yourself.

Keep a close eye on this and you’ll know real fast which category you fall itno. And once you know, that’s half the battle.  Most are sleep walking through life and never take the time to analyze whether they’re a “Copout,” a “Holdout,” or a “Dropout.” Don’t let it happen to you…

Best,

Andrew J. Cass

    Thank you Andrew,

This is a great reminder of who and what I used to be but have now become, thanks to you. I am gaining momentum on the Allout type and look forward to making my goals a reality this year.

It feels good to be an Allout person.

  2. So true!

I must admit that I have been all of the first three types at some point in my life, in that exact order, with most of the time spent as a dropout.

But, I am happy to say that due to the mentoring and coaching of people like yourself and others in the great community of entrepreneurs that I now align myself with, I have become more of an “Allout” than I ever thought possible.

I truly believe that we are products of our environment. We adapt to our surroundings. If we are surrounded by those who fit into any of those categories, we will eventually adapt those traits.

I am glad that I belong to a community of “Allouts” because those are the traits I feel that I need to succeed.

  3. Thanks again Andrew,

Everything you write is so beneficial and greatly inspiring! If I’m having a frustrating day it makes me do a reality check on myself and puts me back on a positive mindset path. I look forward to your posts because they are so beneficial to me and the success of my business!

    From an “Allout” business person!

  4. Great article Andrew!

For several years, I was definitely a dropout. I had what it took, but I kept coming up with excuses of why not.

Right now, I don’t need to take the next four weeks to analyze because I spent the last four weeks totally transforming my thinking thanks to all the awesome mentors in this community (and I continue to do so).

I was involved in one MLM or another for over 12 years and none of them gave the quality of leadership training like this community does that is needed to succeed in our type of business.

They say it takes 21 days to break a habit and I have almost been through two 21 day cycles and I see nothing but a transformed future ahead of me. I cannot even fathom going back to my former way of thinking.

I read a quote from Zig Ziglar the other day that has become one of my top 10 – “We all need a daily check up from the neck up to avoid stinkin’ thinkin’ which ultimately leads to hardening of the attitudes.”

The one word that sticks out for me in that quote is “daily”, not weekly, not monthly, but “daily”.

I look forward to meeting you in Boca.

    Have a Rockin’ Awesome Weekend,

    ~Rhonda :)

  5. Hello Andrew:

This makes a lot of sense, and is straight to the point. Me myself am a Allout, because I am doing all my best to continue to shift my mindset to becoming a 3% Leader who can lead others who have Bigger Whys? It’s a long miserable life when you are within an environment that you desperately want to get out of, but at the end of the day their are no excuses. You are either going to fit into 1 or these categories, and the 4th and best Leveraging Catergory is the AllOut.

    Thanks Again Andrew

    Much Love,
    Neville Easley
